Margarida Baptista Matos joins Sérvulo & Associados as Senior Associate in Litigation and Arbitration

Margarida Baptista Matos has joined Sérvulo & Associados as a senior associate in the firm’s litigation & arbitration team.

Margarida Baptista Matos joins from Cuatrecasas, where she spent nine years and most recently served as a principal associate. She specialises in litigation and arbitration with a focus on commercial, corporate and civil litigation, notably advising on contractual and non‑contractual liability. Over the past five years she has concentrated on defending clients in private enforcement actions and class actions, working in collaboration with international law firms. At Cuatrecasas she worked across the areas of litigation & arbitration.

She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2016), a postgraduate advanced qualification in arbitration law from the same university, and a master’s degree in forensic law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University.
