Forvis Mazars appoints María Borén and six others as partners in Spain
"Forvis Mazars promotes seven professionals to partner in Spain, including María Borén to the Legal department in Barcelona; other promotions cover Audit, Transfer Pricing, IT Audit, Outsourcing and Tax."
María Borén has been appointed partner in the Legal department in Barcelona. She joined the firm in 2010 in the Commercial area and has extensive experience in commercial advice, restructuring operations and legal due diligence processes for both international and national companies and business groups. María holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona.
Internationally, Juan Berral and Carlos Palomino have been promoted to partners in Audit, and César del Portillo has been appointed partner in charge of Transfer Pricing.
Locally, the firm has promoted Luis Hernández to partner in IT Audit, Beatriz Montañés to partner in Outsourcing and Astrid Sánchez to partner in Tax, reinforcing the firm’s management team across its main service lines.
With these appointments, the total number of partners at Forvis Mazars in Spain rises to 62, and the firm now has 900 professionals across its eight offices in the country.
