Ceca Magán Appoints Laura Cadenas as Partner in Banking and Finance
"Ceca Magán has appointed Laura Cadenas as a partner in its banking and finance practice. She will work on transport-related finance, particularly aviation and maritime asset financing."
Cadenas was formerly a partner in the assets and structured finance department at Watson Farley & Williams in Madrid, a firm she joined in 2009 and for which she has worked in both the Madrid and London offices. Prior to Watson Farley & Williams she worked at Hogan Lovells and Uría Menéndez.
She brings almost 20 years of experience advising on transport-related financing transactions, with particular focus on the aviation and maritime sectors. Her work includes aircraft financing for helicopters, commercial aircraft and executive jets, tax leasing transactions for ships, shipbuilding contracts, ECA-guaranteed financing and other asset financing transactions for railways and rolling stock. Cadenas also has extensive knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law. She holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
