SKW Schwarz strengthens Frankfurt Private Clients team with partner Dr Martin Liebernickel from Poellath
"SKW Schwarz strengthens its Private Clients practice in Frankfurt by hiring Dr Martin Liebernickel from Poellath; he will work on company, tax and inheritance law and succession and asset structuring."
Dr. Martin Liebernickel advises family businesses and their shareholders as well as wealthy individuals on company and asset structuring and succession. His expertise covers corporate, tax and inheritance law aspects of complex succession and structuring projects, and his clients regularly include foundations, trusts and non‑profit organisations. He is a lawyer and tax advisor and worked for PwC for many years before joining Poellath in 2017.
SKW Schwarz said it aims to support clients at the highest professional level and with sufficient depth and strength, and that Liebernickel’s expertise will further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in complex company and asset succession matters. SKW Schwarz most recently expanded its Private Clients practice at the turn of 2024/2025 with the addition of a three‑lawyer team in Munich. With the arrival of Martin Liebernickel, the Private Clients team will comprise 18 lawyers across Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich.
