Based in Washington, DC, Hembree brings a proven track record of steering clients through the full lifecycle of environmental matters, from transactions and compliance to enforcement and litigation. Known for her ability to mobilize quickly in high‑stakes situations, she leads internal investigations and government inquiries, coordinates emergency response and remediation strategies, and defends clients in complex, multijurisdictional disputes. She has represented clients across sectors including energy, fire services, transportation, chemicals, consumer goods and manufacturing.
Beyond crisis management, Hembree advises clients on day‑to‑day risk and long‑term planning. She counsels on product stewardship, chemical risk management, legislative drafting, audit disclosures and contract negotiation, and provides guidance on innovative technologies and sustainable business practices. Her work also encompasses insurance, supply chain and sustainability risk management, where she assists global brands in mitigating reputational risk and responding to emerging environmental and social challenges.
