Nicoletta Alfano is promoted to counsel within DLA Piper’s Finance department, with a focus on investment funds and financial regulation. She has consolidated experience advising asset management companies, funds, banks, financial intermediaries, SIM, insurance companies, payment institutions and, more generally, regulated entities operating in domestic and international markets. Over the course of her career she has gained significant experience in collective asset management, contributing to the establishment of SGRs and the structuring of investment funds and SICAFs, including real estate, private equity and infrastructure funds, and projects for energy production from alternative sources. She has also developed extensive expertise in authorization, organizational and governance matters as well as in the compliance of supervised entities regarding collective management activities, investment services and the establishment and marketing of related products.
With Alfano’s appointment, who will coordinate senior lawyers Maddalena Fontana and Federico Antonio Inzaghi — recently promoted — DLA Piper consolidates the team that follows asset management and financial services with highly experienced professionals able to manage the firm’s relationships with domestic and international financial market clients.
