Jeanie Kelly, who joined the firm in January 2025, is promoted to Partner in the Projects, Infrastructure & Energy group and specialises in Planning & Environment law. She brings over seven years of specialised experience advising public and private sector clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters. Her work spans sectors including renewable energy, utilities, telecoms, housing, natural resources, forestry and agriculture, and she has guided clients through all stages of major infrastructure projects from strategic planning to litigation. Her expertise includes oral hearings, commercial litigation, planning and environmental judicial reviews, injunctions and climate litigation. She has advised on significant national projects, notably Irish Water’s Arklow Waste Water Treatment Plant, the National Broadband Ireland rollout under the National Broadband Plan, and Glanbia’s €140 million cheese factory expansion in Kilkenny, where she successfully defended a judicial review challenge before the Supreme Court.
