Simmons & Simmons strengthens infrastructure funds practice with partner hire Ali Fagan

"Simmons & Simmons hires partner Ali Fagan to strengthen its infrastructure funds, ENRIC and AMIF capabilities; Jenny Harrison joins as of counsel to work on social and energy infrastructure projects."

Ali Fagan and Jenny Harrison are joining Simmons & Simmons, with Fagan appointed as a partner and Harrison joining in an of Counsel role.

Ali Fagan joins Simmons & Simmons as a partner, after nine years as a partner at DLA Piper. She is a deeply experienced litigator specialising in international infrastructure and energy projects, with a strong track record advising leading infrastructure investment funds and fund managers. Her practice focuses on providing legal and risk management advice for investments across the infrastructure asset class, including advising on distressed or strategically critical projects. Fagan’s expertise spans the full spectrum of UK infrastructure assets and extends to multiple jurisdictions, including the Middle East. Her hire underpins the firm’s expansion of its newly established Energy, Natural Resources, Infrastructure and Construction (ENRIC) sector by strengthening construction and contentious construction capabilities and is closely aligned with Simmons & Simmons’ Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) sector.

Jenny Harrison, a former colleague of Fagan, joins the team in an of Counsel role. She brings a wealth of experience in social and energy infrastructure projects.
