Boies Schiller Flexner has elected Daniel Crispino, Daria Pustilnik, Tim Smyth, Andrew Steinmetz and Melissa Zonne to the partnership and has elevated New York partner Eric Brenner to the role of International Administrative Partner. Washington, D.C.-based attorney William Harvey was promoted to counsel and the firm implemented several additional administrative and business leadership changes effective January 1.

Daniel Crispino was elected partner. He is an experienced civil litigator who handles high-profile, sensitive cases in trial and appellate courts nationwide. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex matters, including commercial disputes and class actions in federal and state courts. Daniel is a key member of the firm’s sexual misconduct and investigations practice, representing survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and clients in the music industry bringing claims under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, and he is active in alumni and mentoring activities.

Daria Pustilnik was elected partner. She represents individuals and companies in complex, multijurisdictional civil and criminal disputes, often involving U.S. and international sanctions and trade regimes. Daria advises on enforcement actions concerning sanctions evasion and money laundering, and represents clients in cross-border U.S. civil litigation and before authorities including OFAC, the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce, the U.K. Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, and entities in the EU and Switzerland.

Tim Smyth was elected partner. He is an experienced international arbitration attorney advising corporations, sovereign states and high-net-worth individuals in public international law and commercial disputes. Tim has advised clients across sectors such as mining, energy, banking, hospitality, telecoms, aviation and pharmaceuticals, and has represented clients in arbitrations under all major international rules, including investor claims such as the first-ever CPTPP treaty claim.

Andrew Steinmetz was elected partner. He is a trial and appellate litigator focusing on complex commercial disputes and class actions, with experience representing plaintiffs and defendants across real estate, health care, financial services, sports and entertainment, and corporate restructuring matters. Andrew has prevailed on dispositive motions and appeals, played key roles on trial teams that won jury verdicts, is litigating significant consumer class actions and preparing for a jury trial in the Southern District of New York, and has taught legal analysis and writing at Yale Law School.

Melissa Zonne was elected partner. She is a trial lawyer who represents commercial and individual clients in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Melissa maintains an employment practice representing both employers and employees in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage-and-hour disputes and executive separations. She recently argued a novel issue under the End Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act before the Ninth Circuit, represented clients in two trials in 2025, and has broad experience in real estate litigation, including landlord-tenant, lease and ownership disputes, construction defect and contract litigation, and rent reset arbitration.

Eric Brenner was elevated from New York partner to the role of International Administrative Partner and will continue to serve as firmwide co-general counsel alongside Amy Neuhardt. William Harvey was promoted to counsel.

Other firm role changes announced effective January 1 include Marc Ayala and Craig Wenner being named co-administrative partners for the New York and Armonk offices and Alison Anderson becoming the administrative partner for Los Angeles.
