Deloitte Legal strengthens Finance team with Roberto Percoco
"Deloitte Legal welcomes Roberto Percoco as Of Counsel, with Valeria Saponaro and Francesco Saverio Frattaroli as Senior Associates, to its FSI Finance team to reinforce structured finance, securitisations, real estate and debt capital markets work."
The addition of the new team forms part of Deloitte Legal’s strategy to expand its FSI practice and to consolidate the firm’s position in structured finance, securitisations, real estate and the debt capital markets. The move broadens services for financial institutions, institutional investors and companies engaged in extraordinary finance transactions and strengthens the firm’s capacity to work in synergy with other Deloitte business lines.
Roberto Percoco enters Deloitte Legal as Of Counsel with more than 10 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets. He brings expertise in structuring and negotiating securitisations of performing and non-performing loans (NPL), domestic and international bond issuances, structured financings and direct lending, and has advised Italian and international banks acting as arrangers, originators, investors and underwriters in structured finance transactions.
Valeria Saponaro joins as Senior Associate. She is specialized in structured finance transactions, securitisations and credit portfolio acquisitions, and has developed experience at international law firms in banking & finance and in managing complex transactions through to closing.
Francesco Saverio Frattaroli, also joining as Senior Associate, is experienced in structuring and negotiating securitisations, structured finance and debt restructurings. He has gained experience at international law firms working in multidisciplinary and cross-border contexts.
With this team, Deloitte Legal intends to develop its national and international activities in areas including securitisations, NPL transactions, minibonds, covered bonds, basket bonds, real estate and structured financings, also in cooperation with the wider Deloitte network.
