Birketts appoints Irfan Baluch as Partner in South East commercial and technology team

Based in the firm’s South East office in Sevenoaks, Baluch brings over 20 years’ experience as a solicitor and as an engineer and software developer. He is the firm’s first commercial and technology hire in the South East and will support Birketts’ expansion in the region. Working with clients including technology vendors, fintech platforms, cryptocurrency companies, financial institutions, energy and cleantech businesses and media and sports technology providers, he specialises in software development, SaaS and cloud services, data protection, cybersecurity, blockchain and digital assets, artificial intelligence, and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
