BIP Law & Tax launches IP & TMT department
"BIP Law & Tax hires Luca Rinaldi and Daniele Roncarà to launch its IP & TMT department; they will practice in intellectual property, copyright, new technologies, media and telecommunications."
Luca Rinaldi joins BIP Law & Tax as an equity partner and head of the new IP & TMT department. He has been active for almost thirty years in intellectual property, with a particular focus on media, entertainment, digital technologies and telecommunications. Over his career he has advised broadcasters, producers, investors, start-ups, ISPs, OTTs and publishers in transactions and disputes, and has provided counsel on intellectual and industrial property to various industries. He is Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on TRIPS of AIPPI International, a role that has enabled him to consolidate collaborative relations at the WTO level. Rinaldi comes from Gianni & Origoni.
Daniele Roncarà joins BIP Law & Tax as a Director. He has more than ten years of experience advising Italian and international clients in both litigation and non-contentious matters, with a focus on intellectual property, copyright, new technologies and media. His professional path includes over four years in the Legal Department of Sky Italia, where he was responsible for the IP & Copyright area and handled contractual relations with collecting societies as well as compliance with regulatory authority requirements. Roncarà comes from Gianni & Origoni.
