Franklin welcomes partner Arnaud Moussatoff and associate Allan Ghosn to its Restructuring team
"Franklin hires partner Arnaud Moussatoff and associate Allan Ghosn to its Restructuring team; they will work on industrial and financial restructurings, distressed M&A and cross-border insolvency matters."
Arnaud Moussatoff, 46, is specialised in industrial and financial restructurings, in both amicable procedures (mandat ad hoc, conciliation) and judicial proceedings (sauvegarde and redressement judiciaire). He assists underperforming companies in negotiations with shareholders, lenders and other partners, and advises management on the legal and financial strategy to exit a crisis. He represents investors in distressed M&A with specific expertise in fiduciary mechanisms, and works on cross-border restructurings, the defence of creditors against insolvent debtors and litigation relating to insolvency law. Before joining Franklin he practised at Brown Rudnick, where he was appointed partner in 2020, and at Squire Patton Boggs, where he developed the Restructuring practice of the Paris office. He holds a DJCE and a DESS in business and tax law from Lyon III University and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2007. He is also a member of the Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises.
Allan Ghosn joins Franklin as a collaborator.
They become part of a Restructuring team led by partner Numa Rengot and composed of Professor David Robine (Senior Advisor), Fanny Attal and Pierre Dupuys (Of Counsels) and four collaborators. Their arrival brings the team to ten lawyers. The department operates a full-service approach, intervening at every stage of a distressed company’s lifecycle—from diagnostic and identification of reorganisation levers to implementation of appropriate tools between amicable positioning and judicial treatment—covering distressed M&A and related litigation and drawing on the firm’s expertise in Corporate–M&A, banking & finance, tax, employment, public law, competition and real estate. With now two partners working in tandem, the team intends to accelerate its development on larger-scale operations.
