Capital Markets and M&A Partner Jake Farquharson Joins Holland & Knight

Mr. Farquharson was previously a partner at Clifford Chance. He focuses on domestic and international capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, platform formations and other corporate finance and general corporate matters. He represents sponsors, issuers and investment banks in public and private capital raising activities and advises clients across industries including real estate and REITs, FIBRAs, energy and infrastructure, hospitality and gaming, healthcare real estate and specialty finance involving mortgages, online consumer loans, corporate middle‑market loans and other private credit assets. He has participated in more than $15 billion in equity capital raising transactions, including IPOs, follow‑on offerings, pre‑IPO financings, 144A and Regulation S offerings and other private placements, and acts as regular outside counsel on securities compliance, corporate governance and other advisory matters.
Mr. Farquharson joins Holland & Knight at partner level, having served as a partner at his prior firm, Clifford Chance. He holds a J.D. and an MBA from Northeastern University and a B.A. from Tufts University, and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
