Baker Tilly Welcomes PONIQtax Team Led by Manuela Ponikwar

The PONIQtax team, led by Manuela Ponikwar, brings specialist experience in system-independent Managed Services for Accounting, Reporting and Tax Compliance. The team manages Accounting, Financial Statement and Tax Compliance processes directly within clients’ existing finance and ERP environments, including systems such as SAP and Oracle, enabling local compliance in Germany to be integrated with global headquarters. The ten-member team will join Baker Tilly from PONIQtax GmbH.
Manuela Ponikwar is a Certified Tax Advisor and the founder and managing director of PONIQtax GmbH. After prior positions at EY and academic studies in Cambridge and Berlin, she built PONIQtax into a specialised provider of system-independent Managed Services for international group subsidiaries. Effective October 1, 2026, she will join Baker Tilly as a Partner, leaving her role as managing director at PONIQtax.
