EY Abogados appoints Silvia Bauzá as partner leading employment practice in Spain

Bauzá is an employment law specialist whose career spans nearly three decades at leading firms. She began her professional path after graduating while working at a notary’s office and, following an initial application to Arthur Andersen (which merged with Garrigues), trained as an employment lawyer at Garrigues. She subsequently practised at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo—where she remained for 13 years after joining on the condition that a standalone employment team would be built—and later worked at Hogan Lovells and Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman). Prior to taking up her role at EY Abogados, she was at Allen & Overy. At EY Abogados she serves with partner-level seniority, leading the employment practice in Spain and sitting on the executive committee.
