Greenberg Traurig Adds Finance Shareholder Shan A. Khan in Dallas
"Greenberg Traurig has added Shan A. Khan as a shareholder in its Dallas Finance Practice. He will work on leveraged finance, acquisition financings, private credit and special situations."
Khan joins Greenberg Traurig from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He represents private equity sponsors, private credit funds, financial institutions, and public and private companies in complex financing transactions. His practice focuses on leveraged finance, acquisition financings, private credit transactions, and special situations matters, and he has experience across the energy, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, health care, hospitality, and life sciences sectors. Over the past decade, Khan has advised on transactions and financings with an aggregate value of more than $75 billion, ranging from middle-market financings to multibillion-dollar corporate transactions.
Khan earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, an A.M. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University, and a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. He is admitted to practice in Texas.
