Hogan Lovells Cadwalader strengthens Dusseldorf patent team with counsel Dr. Claudia Hertzsch

Dr. Claudia Hertzsch is a German and European patent attorney and a qualified pharmacist with a doctorate. She advises national and international clients on patent infringement and validity proceedings, with particular expertise in the life sciences and chemical sectors, including pharmaceutical formulations, medical use and dosage inventions, small molecules and their manufacture, and protein-based therapeutics. She has many years of experience in national and cross-border patent litigation. Dr. Hertzsch joins Hogan Lovells Cadwalader as counsel; she moved from Hoyng Rokh Monegier, where she had previously worked as counsel. Colleagues note prior collaboration with her when she was at the firm Koenig Szynka Tilmann von Renesse and express anticipation of working together on future matters.
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader describes its German patent practice as an award‑winning team with technical and scientific backgrounds. In Germany the firm counts 20 patent professionals with technical or scientific degrees, 14 of whom are members of the Dusseldorf partners’ team.
