Mills & Reeve appoints Lucy Barr as partner in Birmingham family team
"Mills & Reeve has appointed Lucy Barr as partner in its Birmingham family team. She will work in family law, specialising in complex divorce, financial remedy, Children Act disputes, cohabitation and international jurisdictional matters."
Lucy joins from Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV), where she led the family law practice in Birmingham for more than eight years. She brings over 20 years' experience, the majority spent in the Midlands, and will support the continued growth and development of Mills & Reeve's nationally recognised family team, working alongside partner Katherine Kennedy.
Lucy specialises in complex divorce and financial remedy proceedings, Children Act disputes, cohabitation cases and international jurisdictional matters, including Hague Convention child abduction. The Legal 500 describes her as "bright and diligent", while Chambers & Partners recognises her dedication and client care.
