Jérôme Mas joins Desfilis as partner in tax practice

Jérôme Mas will strengthen Desfilis’s tax offering and will work in close collaboration with the M&A - Private Equity and Real Estate Operations teams. He joins the firm as a partner.
Mas specialises in the tax aspects of M&A, restructuring and private equity transactions. He has more than 20 years’ experience in prominent international and French firms and is particularly recognised for his transaction tax expertise, notably in LBOs. He advises investment funds and management teams on tax audits, structuring, management packages and wealth engineering.
He has also developed a noted real estate tax practice, advising promoters, property dealers, investment funds and family offices at every stage of projects across residential, office, hotel, coworking/coliving and serviced residence markets.
Mas began his career at Ashurst, then worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei. He most recently practised in the tax department of Winston Taylor in Paris.
Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2004, he holds a DESS in Business Law and Taxation from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and is a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF).
