Barnes & Thornburg Adds Two Indianapolis Partners to Corporate and Labor and Employment Teams

Kristine Camron and Thomas P. (Tom) Stafford have joined Barnes & Thornburg as partners in the firm's Indianapolis office.

Kristine Camron joins Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the Corporate Department, focusing her practice on venture capital and business transactions. She brings more than 25 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, startups, growth companies and investors and has managed more than 500 deals across industries including healthcare, logistics, software and manufacturing. Camron joins from Camron Molin, the Indianapolis boutique she founded and led as managing partner. Earlier in her career she spent 23 years at Ice Miller, where she led the firm’s venture capital initiative.

Thomas P. Stafford joins Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the Labor and Employment Department, concentrating on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and employee benefits. Previously a partner at Krieg DeVault in Indianapolis, Stafford focuses on the design, implementation and administration of ESOPs and provides ongoing counsel to boards and officers of ESOP-owned companies regarding their fiduciary obligations under ERISA. He has participated in structuring and negotiating more than 100 transactions across the ESOP life cycle, and also advises employers on the full spectrum of employee benefits matters, including retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation and health and welfare plans.
