Fidal Avocats strengthens its energy expertise
"Fidal Avocats hires energy lawyer Antoine Guyomard into its energy – regulation & energy operations team; he will work on energy law, decarbonization and transactional aspects of energy projects."
Admitted to the Hauts-de-Seine Bar and a lawyer since 2017, Guyomard specialises in energy law, notably in negotiating the complex contracts required for the development, construction and operation of industrial and energy projects. He focuses on transactional aspects of energy operations and projects and advises industrial clients and traders on securing their projects, including purchase/sale of energy and associated hedging instruments, decarbonization, contractual arrangements, operations related to energy saving certificates, and more recently the development of data centres.
Before joining Fidal, Guyomard practised in the Energy & Decarbonation department of CMS Francis Lefebvre, where he served as a senior lawyer. He previously worked at Ravetto Associés and Gide Loyrette Nouel after formative experiences at leading international firms. He holds a Master 214 in Business Law from Université Paris‑Dauphine and an LL.M. in International Business Law from King’s College London. A former Secrétaire de la Conférence, he regularly teaches at Université Dauphine – PSL on decarbonization, data centres and AI within two master’s programmes and is the author of numerous publications in the fields of energy and industrial contracts.
