Isabelle de La Gorce joins Broadfield as Managing Partner in France

"Broadfield opens its Paris office and appoints Isabelle de La Gorce as Managing Partner to lead business law and M&A work for corporate clients and investment funds."

Isabelle de La Gorce is joining Broadfield as Managing Partner to lead the firm's new Paris office, marking Broadfield’s establishment on continental Europe.

Isabelle de La Gorce brings more than twenty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and carve-outs, advising private equity funds and corporate clients across the full lifecycle of corporate transactions on both French and cross-border matters. She joins Broadfield from PwC Société d'Avocats where, as a partner, she headed the legal M&A practice. She previously practiced at Deloitte Société d'Avocats and EY Société d'Avocats.

Under her leadership, Broadfield’s initial activity in France will focus on business law services for French and international corporate clients and investment funds operating on, investing in, or divesting from the French market. A dedicated employment law department is planned in the coming months. The Paris launch is part of Broadfield’s strategic expansion and will give French and international clients direct access to its international team, operating alongside Broadfield’s partners in the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong and Latin America, and in strategic partnership with SHP Legal Services, a subsidiary of Alvarez & Marsal Inc.
