Ecija hires Eduardo Gómez de Enterría as partner
"Ecija has appointed Eduardo Gómez de Enterría as a partner in its Madrid office to strengthen its labour and employment law department."
Gómez de Enterría brings more than 25 years of experience and joins Ecija from RSM, after building his career at firms including Sagardoy, Herbert Smith Freehills and Dentons.
He will work in the firm's labour and employment practice, advising national and international companies with particular focus on collective bargaining and dispute processes, corporate restructurings, workforce reorganisations and complex employment situations.
Alongside his legal practice, Gómez de Enterría teaches collective bargaining and corporate restructuring at IE and holds an honorary professorship at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid’s Master’s programme for access to the legal profession. He also teaches labour law at Universidad Villanueva’s equivalent master’s programme, regularly lectures at institutions including APD, IESE and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Labour Association (ILA), FORELAB and ASNALA, is a regular contributor to the American Bar Association, and is an accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice.
With his arrival, Ecija’s labour team in Madrid now includes more than 25 professionals, with partners such as Raúl Rojas, Fernando Vizcaíno, Carlos Martínez-Cebrián and Álvaro Rodríguez de la Calle, who are now joined by Gómez de Enterría.
