Plana Ventura Garcés hires Luis Hormeño as partner

Luis Hormeño Ocaña has joined Plana Ventura Garcés as partner, and Fernando Castañeda has also joined the firm.

Luis Hormeño Ocaña brings more than 25 years of experience and joins Plana Ventura Garcés as partner from Hormeño & Castañeda Abogados. He specialises in labour and social security law, white-collar crime, compliance, arbitration and dispute resolution. Hormeño has advised companies across various sectors, both domestically and internationally, and has established a track record in the defence of senior executives and in economic criminal law matters linked to corporate activity and compliance. Over the course of his career he has sat on several boards of directors, providing a strategic understanding of corporate governance that he applies when designing defence strategies before national and international courts and arbitral bodies.

Fernando Castañeda joins the firm as a lawyer. He is specialised in criminal law and dispute resolution and has more than ten years of experience. Castañeda has taken part in significant proceedings in Spain concerning economic and corporate crime, advising and defending companies, executives and individuals in complex criminal proceedings.

Víctor de Cambra, managing partner of the Madrid office, commented that Hormeño brings experience and knowledge in labour and white-collar crime law that aligns with the firm’s client-focused, strategic and solution-oriented approach to legal advice.
