Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe Strengthens Tech Antitrust Litigation Team with Former DOJ Trial Lawyer

Aaron Teitelbaum has joined Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Teitelbaum is an antitrust litigator with significant trial experience and tech and cyber expertise. From 2022 to 2025 he served as Senior Litigation Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he co-led the government’s trial teams in United States v. Google and United States v. JetBlue and was a three-time recipient of the Assistant Attorney General Honorary Award. Prior to that he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado (2018–2022), handling national security, cybercrime, public corruption, and narcotics trafficking matters and serving as the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property coordinator. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office (2015–2018).

A veteran trial lawyer, Teitelbaum has tried 16 civil and criminal cases to verdict in federal and state courts, has conducted over 100 evidentiary hearings, and has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the California Court of Appeal. Most recently he practiced privately at antitrust litigation boutique Kressin Powers before joining Orrick as a partner.
