Clyde & Co appoints Sarah Wood as Partner and Employment Practice Leader in Australia

Wood joins from Gilchrist Connell and will be based in Sydney, supported by a newly recruited team. She advises corporates and insurers across the full spectrum of employment, industrial relations and safety matters. Her practice spans both advisory and litigation, including executive employment issues, restructures and redundancies, workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, enterprise bargaining and the management of people-related risks. She also has extensive insurance experience acting for several large insurers as well as global corporates. Her appointment establishes dedicated leadership for Clyde & Co’s Employment practice in Australia and strengthens the firm’s global employment, immigration and pensions offering to support clients navigating complex, cross-border workplace and regulatory challenges.
