Barbara brings extensive experience advising national and international pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, medtech and food companies on complex regulatory, commercial and contentious matters. She is a highly ranked, multi‑award‑winning senior lawyer in the sector with expertise spanning market access, product compliance and safety, advertising and promotion, regulatory investigations and enforcement disputes, as well as strategic commercial contracts and complex commercial disputes. She is joining Simmons & Simmons as Of Counsel.
Her appointment is intended to strengthen the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences capabilities in the Netherlands and across the wider Benelux region, supporting clients as they navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and commercial landscape.
