Fieldfisher launches Munich real estate practice with partner hire Michael Ziegaus-Clavien

Michael joins from DLA Piper and brings extensive experience in real estate asset management, commercial leasing and complex transactions. He advises national and international investors and corporates across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate assets. His expertise also covers real estate-related data protection and IT law, including digitised building structures and smart buildings.
Michael's arrival strengthens Fieldfisher's European real estate practice, which the firm says now comprises 43 partners. He also brings deep connections across the technology, energy & natural resources, and life sciences sectors, enhancing the firm's ability to support clients operating in increasingly tech-driven and regulated real estate environments. At Fieldfisher he will join as a partner and will play a key role in establishing and growing the Munich real estate offering, with a particular focus on expanding the asset management division and developing the firm's presence in southern Germany.
Fieldfisher said the hire strengthens its expertise in advising institutional property owners and aligns with the firm's strategic plans to systematically develop its real estate practice and position its personnel for future growth.
