OPPENLÄNDER strengthens its corporate law practice with Simon Wawatschek

"Simon Wawatschek joins OPPENLÄNDER's corporate law team. He will work in corporate law after completing his legal training and practising at the firm since September 2026."

Simon Wawatschek has become a member of OPPENLÄNDER's corporate law practice.

Simon Wawatschek studied law at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and completed his legal training in the district of the Bamberg Higher Regional Court. He joined OPPENLÄNDER in Stuttgart to undertake his legal training and has been practising as a lawyer at OPPENLÄNDER in the field of corporate law since September 2026. He has also served as a lecturer at a legal revision centre operating throughout Germany since 2024 and is currently working on a PhD in the field of corporate co-determination. He is starting his legal career at OPPENLÄNDER as part of the team led by Dr Christian Gunßer.

Prior to assuming his current role as a practising lawyer, his prior position was that of a legal trainee at OPPENLÄNDER.
