Taylor Wessing appoints Dr Stefan Schroder partner in Dusseldorf energy practice

Dr Stefan Schroder will join Taylor Wessing with effect from 1 September 2026 as a partner in the Dusseldorf office and will become part of the energy team led by Dr Tillmann Pfeifer, Head of the Industry Group Energy & Infrastructure. Schroder advises on energy and regulatory law with a focus on the legal and economic framework of the energy transition. His expertise includes hydrogen and gas infrastructure, renewable energies and low-carbon energy sources, storage, grid tariff regulation, energy and emissions trading, and energy sector transactions and litigation in the regulated energy sector. He previously served as a partner in Freshfields' Dusseldorf office and before that headed the global Energy Transition Group at Hogan Lovells.
Maria Kern and Dr Denise Leinders will also join Taylor Wessing's Dusseldorf office and will work as senior associates.
