Wenger Vieli hires Thomas Steiner as counsel
"Thomas Steiner joins Wenger Vieli as counsel, joining the firm’s antitrust and competition and data, privacy, media & technology practices."
Steiner’s practice focuses at the intersection of law, business and technology, with a concentration on antitrust and competition law as well as data and privacy law. He joins Wenger Vieli as counsel, moving from Laux Lawyers in Zurich, where since June 2020 he served as senior advisor and partner.
Prior to his role at Laux Lawyers, Steiner spent close to three years at Vischer in Zurich. He joined Vischer in September 2017 as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Data & Privacy and Antitrust & Competition practice and was promoted to Managing Associate in July 2018, a role he held until May 2020. From March to August 2017 he worked at UBS in Zurich as Litigation & Investigations Counsel. Earlier, between September 2014 and February 2017, he was also at Vischer, initially joining as an Associate in the Antitrust & Competition and ICT practice groups and being promoted to Senior Associate in January 2016, a position he held until February 2017.
