Simopoulou will focus the new firm on the financial sector, including banking, finance and insurance. She enters the new venture as its founder. Prior to establishing Simopoulou Legal & Compliance, Simopoulou was a Partner and Head of the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets practice at Andersen Legal from 2020 to 2025. She previously served as a Vice President at Credit Suisse from 2014 to 2019 and as In‑House Counsel at Eurobank from 2002 to 2014.
