Olearnik focuses on transactions and disputes. He joins SSW with the seniority of Partner. Immediately prior to joining SSW, he was Head of Legal, Special Situations at Apex Litigation Finance Limited (2025–2026).
His previous roles include Investment Director at Asertis Ltd (2022–2024) and Managing Director at Delta Capital Partners Management (2020–2022). He served as a Partner at Kochanski & Partners (2017–2020), as Counsel at Dentons (2010–2017), as an Associate at Mayer Brown (2007–2009) and at Halliwells (2006–2007), and as a Trainee Solicitor at Clifford Chance (2004–2006). Since 2022 he has also been Chief Investment Officer, Head of Special Situations at Burgundy Capital Management.
