Li-Ber Consulting launched in Hungary by BLB Legal founders

Li-Ber Consulting specializes in information security, IT, risk management consulting, and governance, risk, and compliance.
Tamas Bereczki joins Li-Ber Consulting as a founding partner. He had been a Partner at BLB Legal since 2025. Prior to that he was a Partner at Provaris Varga & Partners from 2019 to 2025, having moved there from Baker McKenzie where he was an Attorney at Law from 2018 to 2019. Earlier in his career he served as a Manager at Deloitte (2016–2018), IT Risk & Controls Analyst at Citi (2015–2016), Information Security Officer at Erste Bank Hungary (2011–2015) and as a Prosecutor at MKU (2005–2011). He will work in the firm’s information security, IT, risk management and governance, risk and compliance practice.
Adam Liber joins Li-Ber Consulting as a founding partner. He had been a Partner at BLB Legal since 2025. Prior to that he was a Partner at Provaris Varga & Partners from 2019 to 2025, having moved there from Baker McKenzie where he was Head of IT/Communications from 2015 to 2019. Earlier he worked at Bogsch & Partners as an Associate from 2006 to 2010 and as an Attorney at Law from 2010 to 2015. He will work in the firm’s information security, IT, risk management and governance, risk and compliance practice.
Liber noted that the enforcement of the NIS2 Directive and the new Hungarian Cybersecurity Act create significant compliance challenges that require both legal and deep technical expertise. He added that a recent amendment to the Act on Legal Services allows them, as officially registered Information Security Officers, to offer a holistic CISO-as-a-Service solution, converting legal requirements into practical, audit-ready cybersecurity measures for clients.
