Stratulat Albulescu Appoints Two New Partners
"Stratulat Albulescu appoints Luiza Ionescu to the Energy & Infrastructure Group and promotes Costin Sandu to Partner in its TMT, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity teams."
Luiza Ionescu joins the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure Group as Partner. Prior to joining Stratulat Albulescu, she worked at BayWa as Legal Counsel from 2023 to 2025 and as an Executive Officer from 2025 to 2026. Earlier, she served as Legal Counsel at Enel from 2019 to 2023 and worked in private practice from 2016 to 2019.
Costin Sandu, who is part of Stratulat Albulescu’s TMT, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity teams, has been with the firm since 2022 when he joined as Counsel and now assumes the role of Partner. Before joining Stratulat Albulescu, he was Managing Attorney at PrivacyWorks from 2020 to 2022. He worked at Schoenherr as Senior Associate from 2016 to 2018 and as Head of the Data Protection Practice in Romania from 2018 to 2020. His earlier roles include Associate at Clifford Chance from 2011 to 2016, Associate at NNDKP from 2010 to 2011, and Associate at D&B David si Baias from 2005 to 2010.
