Schoenherr appoints Balazs Kutasi as Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution and Insolvency in Budapest

Balazs Kutasi joins Schoenherr as Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution and Insolvency. He led Kutasi & Pulay Legal between 2018 and 2026. Earlier in his career he served at Jeantet as Head of Dispute Resolution from 2015 to 2017 and as a Local Partner from 2017 to 2018, was Head of Dispute Resolution at Gide from 2014 to 2015, and worked as an Associate at Allen & Overy from 2010 to 2014. He brings deep litigation, international arbitration and sanctions experience to the role.
Associate Janos Joos has joined Schoenherr’s Budapest team as an Associate. The firm highlighted his strong track record in cross-border litigation matters and said he will contribute to the development of its dispute resolution, sanctions and insolvency practice in Hungary.
