Le 16 Law expands its social litigation practice with arrival of Aurélie Fournier
"Le 16 Law strengthens its social litigation offering by hiring employment lawyer Aurélie Fournier to lead the new practice; Thomas Leblanc and Jean Pichon de Bury are promoted to counsel."
Aurélie Fournier is an employment lawyer with more than twenty years’ experience. She has developed a recognised expertise in high-stakes employment litigation at Peltier Juvigny Marpeau & Associés, where she worked on matters including harassment, discrimination, psychosocial risks and sensitive disputes involving corporate executives. Her practice has advised CAC 40 groups as well as SMEs and ETIs, notably in the banking and finance sectors, and regularly handles cross-border cases, particularly in Spain and Germany. She joins Le 16 Law to lead its new social litigation practice and is accompanied by an integrated team composed of Cindy Souffrin (counsel), Inès Gorse and Marion Lokhart. Earlier in her career she held a DEA in European Law from the University of Strasbourg and was appointed partner at Salans (now Dentons) in 2014.
Thomas Leblanc, an attorney since 2018 and a member of Le 16 Law since its creation, has been promoted to counsel. Specialised in real estate law in both advisory and litigation matters, he works alongside Morgan Gizardin on complex operations and disputes involving institutional actors, listed companies, family offices and retail groups. His promotion is intended to reinforce the firm’s recognised real estate practice.
Jean Pichon de Bury, who joined Le 16 Law in 2020, has also been promoted to counsel. He practises primarily in corporate litigation, in amicable contexts as well as in judicial and arbitral proceedings, and advises a varied clientele including private equity funds, companies, institutions and executives in shareholder disputes, post-acquisition litigation and governance-related conflicts. His appointment supports the firm’s growth and the strengthening of its corporate litigation practice.
These changes reflect Le 16 Law’s strategy of combining external development with internal talent promotion, while maintaining a focus on excellence and the construction of strong teams to serve clients, said Jean-Luc Larribau, founding partner of Le 16 Law.
