Fidal Avocats strengthens its corporate and tax law expertise

Núria Bové Espinalt is admitted to the Bars of Paris and Barcelona and brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial, judicial and arbitral advice and litigation. She has led teams at leading firms including Gide Loyrette Nouel and Cuatrecasas, where she founded the Paris office, and most recently joined DS Avocats to head the Iberian Desk and LATAM activities. Her practice covers corporate law, commercial contracts, distribution and high-level financing operations. She is also recognised for her work in arbitration, mediation and judicial litigation, and is regularly appointed as arbitrator by the ICC in Paris. Her qualifications include a law degree from the University of Barcelona, a Master in International Trade Law (Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a leadership programme at IESE Business School. She speaks French, English, Spanish and Catalan and is active in organisations promoting Franco‑Spanish relations.
Catherine Hilgers is a tax lawyer with 30 years of experience advising international groups on international taxation, transfer pricing, patrimonial reorganisations and on tax audits and litigation. Her career spans tax administration (DGFIP), in‑house practice as Tax Director of the Altrad group, and firm practice at EY, Fidal and DS Avocats. She has led teams and centres of excellence in international tax and tax audits and litigation. She studied at Sciences Po Paris and the ENI (Ecole Nationale des Impôts), holds the CRFPA with distinction in tax and customs law, and speaks English, Spanish and Danish. She was named Best Lawyer 2025 in Tax Law and serves as a Conseillère du commerce extérieur since 2011.
Their arrival is accompanied by a cohesive team composed of Mahaut de Bélizal, admitted to the Bars of Paris and Colombia and specialised in assisting Spanish‑speaking companies with investments and litigation in France; Coline Montangerand, admitted to the Paris Bar, an expert in labour law and restructurings who also advises Iberian clients via the Iberian Desk; and Maxime Ravinet, a trainee lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
