Altaïr Avocats strengthens its tax practice with arrival of two partners
"Philippe Pescayre and Julien Lebel join Altaïr Avocats as partners to reinforce its tax practice, working mainly in corporate and wealth taxation."
Philippe Pescayre, who brings nearly thirty years of experience, joins Altaïr Avocats from Alerion Avocats where he served as managing partner. He advises on wealth taxation, corporate taxation and real estate taxation, and handles tax audits and litigation. He is recognized for his expertise in international taxation of individuals and advises a clientele of leaders, business owners, family shareholders and entrepreneurial groups, notably in the real estate and industrial sectors. He is regularly ranked by reference guides and is involved in international professional networks including the IACF and the IBA.
Julien Lebel, a tax lawyer with seventeen years’ experience, joins Altaïr Avocats as a partner. He practices mainly in corporate tax and wealth taxation, in both advisory and litigation work. His recognised skills include business transfers (notably Dutreil arrangements), structuring real estate investments including para-hotel issues, and advising professional athletes.
They are accompanied by William Mathiotte, counsel, whose activity is exclusively dedicated to wealth taxation and the taxation of trusts, and by Mathilde Colonna d’Istria, lawyer.
Christophe Héry, co-founder of Altaïr Avocats, said the arrival of this team illustrates the firm’s strategy of combining external development with the structuring of its key expertise as part of its growth trajectory.
