Bernadette Brugeron joins Menlo Avocats as partner

A founding partner of the firm Cleverlex, Bernadette Brugeron brings established expertise in commercial law in both advisory and contentious matters, including contract law, economic law and commercial leases, as well as in corporate law. She joins Menlo Avocats as a partner, coming from Cleverlex where she served as founding partner.
Her arrival is presented by Menlo Avocats as a complement to the firm’s existing capabilities. Samuel Schmidt, co-founding partner, specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate advisory and litigation. Hugues de Poncins, also co-founding partner, practises employment law with a strong focus on advising senior executives in both advisory and contentious matters. Benoît Guillaume, of counsel and a former tax inspector, provides tax expertise. Menlo Avocats’ leadership notes that Brugeron’s transversal expertise and international orientation—particularly towards Germany and Italy—will be significant assets for the firm’s clients.
