Catherine Verneret has joined the firm's Intellectual Property, Digital, Compliance & Data department as an associate. Admitted to the Paris Bar, she is a recognized specialist in trademark law, designs and models and copyright, and also works on the protection of personal data. Her practice, balanced between advice and litigation, has been built notably in the distribution, telecommunications and perfume sectors. Before joining Simon Associés, she practised at Jeantet & Associés, served as director-partner at Andersen Legal, was counsel at Allen & Overy, and most recently was an associate at DS Avocats.
Jean-Baptiste Micard, admitted to the Paris Bar in 2019, accompanies Catherine Verneret as her collaborator at Simon Associés. He has worked alongside her since his swearing-in.
