Nicolas Capelli and Morgan Toanen have joined Jeantet as partners, reinforcing the firm with the creation of a dedicated funds/tax team focused on fund structuring.

Nicolas Capelli is specialized in the structuring of investment funds and joins Jeantet as a partner with his team. He has 14 years of experience across London, Paris and Luxembourg and advises management companies on structuring private equity, venture capital, mezzanine, private debt and real estate funds (hospitality, value add and core), as well as on secondary transactions (LP-led and GP-led). He also advises French and international institutional investors and family offices. Capelli has recognized expertise in structuring semi-liquid funds, notably FCPR and ELTIFs intended for retail clients via units of account in French and Luxembourg life insurance contracts.

Morgan Toanen joins Jeantet as a partner and will develop the firm’s tax practice integrated with its funds work; he has joined with his collaborator. He practices tax law with extensive experience in the fiscal structuring of alternative investment funds (private equity, real estate, infrastructure), including carried interest and co-investment mechanisms. He also advises French and foreign groups, management companies and executives on direct and indirect tax matters, notably in the context of mergers and acquisitions and LBO transactions. Before joining Jeantet he worked at leading French and international firms.
