LPA Law strengthens arbitration and litigation practice in Middle East and Africa with appointment of Salma El-Nashar

As a local partner, Salma El-Nashar is specialized in commercial litigation and arbitration across multiple sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, shareholder disputes, banking, technology, media, retail and financial services. She has experience advising developers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on major construction and infrastructure projects, including disputes arising under FIDIC contracts, as well as other complex cross-border disputes in the Middle East and Africa.
Salma regularly appears as counsel and acts as arbitrator in ad hoc arbitrations and in proceedings administered by institutional tribunals, notably ICC, DIAC, LCIA, CRCICA and QICCA. Her practice also encompasses drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on risk management strategies and dispute prevention throughout the project life cycle. She is an RICS-accredited mediator.
She is also active in the international arbitration community, serving as the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) regional representative for the Middle East and as the regional representative of the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA) for North Africa.
