Nathalie Sultan began her legal career as a collaborator at the law firm Landot (2004–2009). She joined DS Avocats in 2009 and became a partner there in 2019. Sultan holds a DESS in National, European and International Litigation from University Paris V (2001) and a DEA in Business Public Law from Université Panthéon-Assas (2002), and she was sworn in March 2004. A recognised specialist in public business law for around twenty years, she works across the full spectrum of public contracts — public procurement, concessions, complex contractual structures and innovative partnerships — advising public operators (local authorities and public enterprises) and private clients (major accounts and network operators) from the definition of needs through contract execution. She has substantial experience in high-stakes sectors including transport, telecommunications, energy and construction, and regularly intervenes on major infrastructure projects, network modernisation programmes and integrated arrangements combining public and industrial actors. Sultan has also developed a recognised practice in public–private real estate structures.
She joins Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats accompanied by her collaborator Gabrielle Chanoine-Assous, who becomes part of Sultan’s team at the firm.
Jean Latournerie described Sultan’s arrival as a genuine asset for the team, emphasising the complementarity of expertise. Coline Warin and Hervé Castelnau noted that the strategic appointment reinforces the firm’s development and its pools of excellence and highlighted the clear synergies with the firm’s capabilities in real estate, corporate, environment, digital/tech, tax, commercial litigation and finance. The nomination brings the number of partners at Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats to 16, and further recruitments are already planned for 2026.
