McDermott Will & Schulte hires Kalish Mullen to lead Paris finance practice

Kalish Mullen will lead and develop the firm’s finance team in Paris, with a particular focus on acquisition financings, fund financings, corporate financings and debt restructurings. He is a specialist in financing and joins McDermott Will & Schulte to head its financing practice.
Mullen began his career at Reed Smith in London and Paris (2012–2016). He then worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges in Paris, where he was promoted to Counsel (2016–2021), before joining Kirkland & Ellis (2022–2026) as a partner, where he established the Paris practice. He has built a reputation advising sponsors and lenders on complex private equity transactions.
He holds dual qualifications in French law (Master in English and French law, Université Paris I Panthéon‑Sorbonne) and in English law (LLB, King’s College London). He is admitted to the Paris Bar and to the bars of England and Wales.
