Squair appoints Julie Nedelec as partner in Bordeaux
"Squair hires Julie Nedelec as a partner in Bordeaux to structure and lead its construction practice."
Admitted to the Bordeaux Bar, Julie Nedelec specialises in construction law and will structure Squair’s construction offering in Bordeaux. She advises and represents building contractors and project owners in both advisory and contentious matters, adopting a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach. She assists clients with the negotiation, drafting and performance of private works contracts and subcontracting agreements, and handles legal issues arising during works or after reception, including claims for additional works, delays, defects, non‑payments or abandonment of site, as well as construction insurance. She represents clients in judicial expertise proceedings and in litigation concerning statutory guarantees and builders’ liabilities.
She also advises on real estate ownership matters — servitudes, party walls, statutory guarantees in property sales and residential leases — and on co‑ownership issues, including disputes between co‑owners and/or with the managing agent, execution of works approved at general meetings, and recovery of unpaid charges.
Julie teaches real estate law at INSEEC Bordeaux and is a member of the Institute of Construction Law of the Bordeaux Bar.
Julie Nedelec began her career at CMC Avocats in Bordeaux in 2018, where she became a partner, before joining Squair in February 2026 as a partner.
