BCTG Avocats strengthens its regulatory practice for banking, financial and insurance services

Claire Stein enters BCTG Avocats as counsel. In her previous roles at FTMS Avocats and then at Bredin Prat, she advised companies in both advisory and litigation matters. She supports French and foreign businesses on the full range of issues related to the regulatory framework applicable to their activities and in their relations and interactions with supervisory authorities. She has developed strong ties with Asia, particularly Japan, and is a member of the council of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
Claire Stein has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 2016. She holds a Master 2 in Business Law from Université Lyon 3 and a Specialized Master from HEC Paris. Before joining BCTG Avocats, she practised at Bredin Prat and FTMS Avocats.
Antoine Beauquier, partner in charge of the Banking practice, said that Claire’s arrival is a strategic step in strengthening their regulatory practice for banking, financial and insurance services, and that her command of the regulatory framework applicable to financial sector players will allow the firm to advise clients with greater anticipation and technicality. Séverin Kullmann, partner in M&A private equity, added that her arrival fits fully with the international dimension of the firm’s matters and clients and will help consolidate ties with Japan.
