Reed Smith strengthens Paris Entertainment & Media team with partner Agathe Malphettes

A member of the Paris Bar, Agathe Malphettes began her career at Chanel in New York before moving to the firms Alain Bensoussan and PDGB. She subsequently worked at White & Case within the Intellectual Property and Information Technologies department and joins Reed Smith after twelve years at White & Case. She is a member of Cyberlex and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and teaches platform regulation in the Master 2 Law of Innovation at Sciences Po.
With more than fifteen years of experience, Malphettes has established expertise in intellectual property, IT law, cybersecurity, consumer law and content regulation, with a pronounced international dimension. She advises clients on the negotiation and drafting of complex IP and IT contracts and on anticipating and achieving compliance with European and national regulations, including the DSA, the Data Act, the NIS2 directive and consumer law rules. She also represents clients in strategic litigation before courts and supervisory authorities and has completed secondments at Meta as Regulatory Litigation Counsel.
