Ydès welcomes Claire Lauria as of counsel

An attorney at the Lyon bar, Claire Lauria is an expert in personal data law, digital health and life sciences. For more than ten years she has worked on the full range of sector issues, including medical devices, medicines, cosmetics, dietary supplements, clinical research, biological samples, health data and relations between industry and healthcare professionals.
Her first experience was in the legal department of a health and medico‑social mutual insurance organisation, which gave her a detailed understanding of the sector’s operational challenges. She joined the Life Sciences department of Delsol Avocats in 2015 and then moved to Life Avocats in 2021, where she consolidated a dual expertise in health product regulation and data protection. She joins Ydès from Life Avocats.
Lauria’s arrival enables Ydès to structure and present an identified Life Sciences practice at the intersection of health law, digital and innovation. Integrated into the Digital Economy & Data department, now composed of seven experienced lawyers, she will help broaden the firm’s scope and strengthen its positioning with actors in the life sciences sector.
